Fratton

The Pompey Pompey FC - Beanie Baby. TY Beanie

Fratton has undergone some major changes in the last year, the old goods yard has now become an industrial estate and B&Q have built one of the largest DIY stores on the south coast here.

The Fratton area includes:
McDonalds.
B&Q.
The Bridge Centre (Asda Shop + more)
Fratton Park - The Home of Football (well the Portsmouth Football Club).
St Mary's Hospital. One of the UK's finest children's hospitals.
St Mary's Church. As big as a Cathedral but only a church?
Portsmouth's Prison.
Access:
Train. Portsmouth - Waterloo line.
Eastern Road.
London Road from North End.
Goldsmith Avenue from Landport.
Things to do:
Visit the Church. It's Big and Old (date to follow)
Watch football at the Pompey FC ground Click the Image.

Parking:
You'll be lucky. Take the train. The Fratton area is mainly residents only parking, B&Q and the other outlets have now imposed a 2 hour max limit on the car parks, and the Portsmouth Ground car park fills up very quickly.
