Hilsea is the Home for the Portsmouth Evening News.

This part of Portsmouth was featured in the 70's hit film 'Tommy', some great shot's of the Moat (before the water). See also 'South Parade Pier'.

The area includes:
A small selection of Shops
Train Station. (drops you into the industrial estate)
A number of 'Public House's'
The Coach and Horse's (Steak House)
The Green Farm (Toby Restaurant)
          Hilsea Lido swimming area.
Access:
A3
Train - Portsmouth - Waterloo/Portsmouth - Southampton/Portsmouth - Brighton.
Bus. Hilsea has access to the whole area via a large Bus network.
 
Things to do:
Eat, Drink!
          The Ramparts at the top of Portsmouth are a good place to work and observe the wildlife.
 
Parking:
On street parking is very (VERY) limited.
          Some parking is available on the A3 junction by the moat.
